The spacious feelings of the superior room were good, with high ceilings that kept it cool. I loved the daily room cleaning. Everything remained super clean throughout my stay. The lush gardens around the hotel set a serene vibe, perfect for relaxation. The pool area? Just beautiful, ideal for unwinding after a busy day. I could lounge by the pool without noise, soaking up that tropical ambiance. The staff created an inviting and accommodating environment, attending to my needs with a smile. I found the bathroom a bit dated and lacking modern touches. They could also update the towels and improve breakfast options for a more satisfying start to the day. Still, the peace I found at Bumi Ayu kept me coming back to recharge. I would happily return for the cozy atmosphere and friendly hospitality.

We do really enjoied our stay there! First of all we liked the design of the hotel - very green! Very!!! With fishes and flowers all around! Second - the swimming pool cool, quite big, deep and warm! Third - the room was wide, but the repaiment in the room was not quite "european", it seems quite new, though it was used a lot. The personnel was nice, ready to help you. And finally, though the location is not very convinient (you need to walk 5 minutes to the main road through a quite dirty road) there is a cheap and extremely nice caffe near the hotel. We spent only everning (a little) in the room, was travelling a lot and walking around - and for this purpose this hotel was perfect. If you want to spend much time near the beach - it is about 10 minutes through another hotels or caffes to the beach...not quite for this.
The repairment in the bathroom. Though at the end of our trip we've changed the room and there the conditions were much much better - so if you don't like it - change the room! And second - road to the main road (with all shops and reatrauns). Quite dirty, with strange smells... I was shocked the first day of our stay there, though then get used to it.

Chilled vibes in Sanur 🌴
The staff were really friendly, always keen to help, and my room was huge-definitely got value for money there! And the pool area? Just beautiful, so lekker to chill there after a hot day.
The breakfast was a bit lukewarm and nothing to write home about.

Overall the service was excellent. Everything was perfect, including savoury breakfasts with juices, fresh fruit plus omlettes. The staff were incredibly nice and very pleasant and the pool was nice. The location was good and magnificent - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go.

Bumi Ayu in Sanur is unique because of its out of the way of mainstream holiday makers. It is tucked quietly away yet easily accessable to all that one would require at Sanur.
I don,t think one could complain about value for money and as such I shall try to make Bumi Ayu my next stay again. ( that would be the 10th visit in a row, home from home.)

The quiet nature of the place and the service was really friendly.
-
missingWrote a review on 15 Novpoor maintenance
The pool's maintenance is lacking, often turning green, and disruptive guests can take over the common areas. The swimming cutoff time at 7 PM in the tropics feels overly restrictive.

The staff were alway helpful and willing to be of assistance at any time - even providing very early breakfast.

Rooms were very ordinary ,with broken furniture and were quite dark. The gardens, however , were paradise; a great place to return to to escpae the noise and buyness of Sanur.
Rooms here don't include tea and coffee making facilities or simple things like tissues or a pen and paper. There was nothing 'superior' about the room we stayed in. It seems the words superior and de luxe are used very loosly in Bali.
